Jabatan Agama Islam Negeri Johor (JAINJ), or the Johor Islamic Religious Department, is a governmental body in the state of Johor, Malaysia. It is responsible for managing and overseeing Islamic affairs in the state. JAINJ's functions include the administration of Islamic law, management of mosques and Islamic education, issuance of halal certifications, and promotion of Islamic values and practices among the Muslim community in Johor. The department also provides services related to marriage, divorce, and family matters according to Islamic law, and works to ensure that religious activities in Johor are conducted in accordance with Islamic principles.
